I’m Lindsey — a Central Florida–based fitness instructor and content creator blending strength, sweat, and strategy through my brand — Sew Sweat Social.

I teach strength, step, and yoga, and I’m passionate about real-life wellness — training hard, recovering well, and finding balance offline (usually with a cross stitch in hand). After leading social media for a Fortune 500 company, I left corporate to build a brand that combines movement, creativity, and content.

One year ago, @freehandgoods started a weekly dog walk with a handful of neighbors and a few very good dogs.

Now it’s a full-on pack.

@tinytigerbru is so excited every Wednesday night, and, honestly, me too. It's my favorite way to get my final steps in for the day.

Cheers to a year of paws and pints, and many more walks together. 🐾

Not because it looks cool on Instagram, but because a strong back supports your posture, your breathing, and how you move through real life.

Strong backs help with posture, long workdays, carrying groceries, picking kids up (or dogs), and feeling less wiped by the end of the day.

That’s the goal.

The work doesn’t have to be dramatic to be effective. Some days we build momentum, not intensity.

Step class today was so much fun. Big energy, lots of laughs, and everyone walked out feeling successful.

Watching it all click for people is my favorite part—proof that you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to show up. 💃

1.11.26 - Sweat & Step - Beginner/Intermediate Combo

Tempo Squats are just slow squats, on purpose... and yes, they’re supposed to feel harder 😅

Details below — Save this for leg day and try it in your next workout!

Both versions I'm showing use elevated heels to help you stay upright and really hit the quads. The only thing that changes is how fast you move.

1–2–3 Version
• Down for 1 second
• Hold at the bottom for 2
• Stand up for 3

3–2–1
• Down for 3 seconds
• Hold for 2
• Up for 1

You can use almost any tempo you like, depending on your goal, and all variations might challenge you in different ways. But, imho, these two are a great place to start.

Cardio, but make it fun!!

It’s a new year, time to put in the work. It all starts now!!!

Here we go - new year, new focus. I’m ready to get in the best, strongest shape of my life this year. And for me, that means dedicated, disciplined lifting (in addition to alllll the other things lol). The only way out is through.

Week 1 - Leg Day
5x Squats - max rep 115lbx5
3x Deadlift - max rep 115lbx8
3x Single Leg Press- 25lbx15
3x Glute Hamstring Raises
500 Jumps (jump rope)
20m Bike

10 Step-Ups
9 Goblet Squats
8 Lateral Raises
7 Push-Ups
6 Reverse Lunges
5 Kettlebell Swings
4 Plank Jacks
3 Squat Jumps
2 Burpees
1 Plank (26 seconds)

Go through 3x (or 4 😳) with minimal rest (30-60s) in between.

Grab weights (a heavy backpack, a laundry detergent jug, or a small child) to increase intensity.

Am I feeling my best right now. No
Am I as strong as I was this Spring? Nope
Do I want to show up every day? Hell Naw

But, I’m ready for change NOW. And know that there’s no quick fixes. So, I’m gonna build my consistency now and put in the work.
