I hereby acknowledge and agree to participate in the event organized by Lindsey Pesch/@SewSweatSocial (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”). In consideration of being allowed to participate in this Event, I hereby agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Waiver and Release of Liability (hereinafter referred to as the “Waiver”).

Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the Event involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, walking on uneven surfaces, encounters with other participants or pedestrians, and the potential for unforeseen hazards and accidents. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event.

Release and Waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Lindsey Pesch/@SewSweatSocial, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness, including death, that may be sustained by me or any third party as a result of my participation in the Event, regardless of whether such loss, damage, injury, or illness is caused by the negligence or misconduct of any of the Released Parties or otherwise.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the Event or any breach of this Waiver by me.
Medical Condition and Insurance: I hereby represent and warrant that I am in good health and have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in the Event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional regarding my participation in the Event if I have any concerns. I further acknowledge that I am solely responsible for maintaining adequate medical insurance coverage during my participation in the Event.

Media Release: I grant Lindsey Pesch/@SewSweatSocial the right to use any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the Event in which I may appear, for promotional or marketing purposes without any compensation to me.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Waiver shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

Severability: If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
